Ephrata receives $6.6 million loan for water and roadway improvements

13th District legislators help secure funding

Rep. Bill Hinkle and Rep. Judy Warnick voted in favor of House Bill 2437 today, supporting local improvement projects. Financing will be provided to Ephrata through a low interest loan through the public works assistance account.

“Ephrata is a growing community,” said Hinkle, R-Cle Elum. “I am pleased the Legislature passed this bill, which will allow for important citywide water and roadway improvements.”

"I'm glad Ephrata will be able to move forward on this vital replacement and update project with this financing," said Warnick, R-Moses Lake.

Below is the financing allocated for the projects:

13th Legislative District Projects - Public Works Trust Fund
City of Ephrata
Citywide water/roadway improvements                     $6,605,727

By the numbers:
